This aerated submersion culture incubation system was developed for short term pharmacokinetics studies. Tissue slice incubations up to a few hours are possible. Each well can hold 4 tissue slices and slices must be covered with 15ml of protein free culture medium. Aliquots of the medium from each wellcan be tacken at various time points. Thus, this particular incubation system is well suited for kinetics studies where short sampling intervals may be necessary. This system is not recommended for organ specific toxicity or long term drug metabolism.
