This is an all Titanium roller insert especially designed for applications in drug metabolism where the substrates are somewhat lipid soluble and tend to be partially extracted by the type A roller insert. Titanium is inert and does not extract lipid soluble materials beyond the amount which may adhere to the surface. The Type C roller insert fits into a 20 ml scintillation vial and will operate optimally with 1.7 ml medium.
