WHO WE are

Vitron, Inc. was spun-off from the University of Arizona in 1991 to handle the manufacturing of tissue slice equipment that was developed at the University of Arizona, to promote the in vitro Precision-Cut Tissue Slice System, to provide methodology for optimally preparing and incubating tissue slices, and to conduct experiments with precision-cut tissue slices for various clients in the pharmaceutical industry and university laboratories. The Precision-Cut Tissue Slice System was pioneered by Dr. Klaus Brendel, Dr. Robyn Fisher and various other members of Dr. Brendel’s laboratory.
